RE/MAX Premier Community Citizenship is the hallmark of the organization’s charity efforts and we take great pride in being a part of it. Our organization and its agents donate time and money on an ongoing basis through a variety of programs and sponsorships.
The RE/MAX Miracle Home Program originated through partnership with the Childrens’ Miracle Network Hospitals.
- This program benefits over 2.5 million sick or injured kids ever year who are treated at one of the member hospitals.
- Agents who display the Miracle Home sign on their listings have pledged to donate a portion of their income from the sale of the home in support of this incredible organization.
- As a result of this and other fundraising efforts, RE/MAX agents have raised over $123 million!
Breast Cancer Awareness
Nationally, RE/MAX is a sponsor of Susan G Komen®, raising funds and awareness in support of breast cancer research and treatment. The focus of Komen is supporting people with the fewest resources: those who don’t have insurance, or not enough, and those who are low-income and simply can’t afford treatment or are unable to access care.
Operation RE/MAX provides guidance to spouses of military members through the process of real estate licensing, placement and training.
World Long Drive Championship
The RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship (RWLDC) has grown into one of the largest golf programs in the world since its inception in 1995. It generates millions of positive brand impressions and about $14 million in measured advertising to RE/MAX each year.
Our Hyper-Local Cause Backpack Buddies
Locally, Backpack Buddies focuses on ensuring kids who rely on school meals during the week, are fed on the weekends as well. Established in 2012, the premise is simple – Kids Helping Kids. Kids who are attending schools without worrying about where their next meal is coming from volunteer to join the program. They hold fundraisers and food drives and pack backpacks with enough food to feed other kids all weekend long.
Then, Community First volunteers pick up the backpacks and deliver them to the schools that need them. Right now, there are 14 donor schools and 16 recipient schools. This translates into hundreds of kids from inner city schools having enough food for the weekend when they might otherwise go hungry. As you’ll see in the video, the recipient kids are happy to receive their backpacks and just want to say thanks.
